°µºÚ±¬ÁÏÍø will have several new academic programsfor the 2024-2025 academic year aimed at enhancing its students' educational opportunities and career pathways.
°µºÚ±¬ÁÏÍø introduces the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program in Spring 2025. The comprehensive program is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in physical therapy, emphasizing clinical excellence and compassionate care.
In response to the growing demand for advanced practice nurses, °µºÚ±¬ÁÏÍø added four new BSN to DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) programs. These programs are tailored to help nursing professionals advance their careers and provide the highest level of nursing care.
The new 4+1 program allows students to earn a Physics Major in Engineering Physics and transition seamlessly into a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. The program is designed to be completed in five years, providing students with a strong foundation in both disciplines.
The new Bachelor of Arts in Art Therapy program combines the creative process with psychological theory and practice, preparing students for careers in therapeutic settings. The program is ideal for those interested in using art to help others heal and grow.
Recognizing students' diverse interests, °µºÚ±¬ÁÏÍø split the Sport Management minor into two tracks: one for Business Majors and one for Non-Business Majors. The tailored approach ensures that all students can benefit from the program, regardless of their major.
A new minor in Political Science for Pre-Law Students was added to better prepare students for law school and careers in the legal field. The program offers a focused curriculum designed to develop the critical thinking and analytical skills needed for success in law.
