Residence Hall Features and Amenities
The convenient residence hall amenity fee covers the following features:
- In-room access to the University Wireless Internet
- Unlimited use of the laundry facilities in each residence hall
- Microfridge (refrigerator, freezer, and microwave unit) in each room
- Access to complimentary high definition cable (88 channels)
- Air Conditioning provided in every Residence Hall
Founders Hall
Founders Hall was renovated during Summer 2018. The remodel of Founders includes updated bathrooms, electronic keycard access for every room, laundry located on every floor, an updated kitchen, and new lounge furniture.
Founders Hall, conveniently located in close proximity to the Library and Academic building, features double occupancy rooms housing 160 first-year residents. This residence hall is co-ed by floor. The lower level lounge offers use of a full-service kitchen, large screen TV, pool table and a ping pong table. A study area for residents’ use is located on the first floor. Founders Hall is an alcohol-free environment. Average room dimensions are 13' x 12'.

Sheil Hall
This unique residence hall is the oldest building on campus and still well suited for first-year style community living. Sheil Hall offers double occupancy rooms for 140 first-year residents. This residence hall is co-ed by floor. A lower level lounge features a large screen TV, pool table, and a ping pong table. while the second floor lounge provides a full-service kitchen and study area. Sheil hall is in close proximity to the JFK Student Recreation and Fitness Center, Charlie’s Place, Memorial Hall, and Chapel. Several coaches from °µºÚ±¬ÁÏÍø Athletics have their offices and the men’s lacrosse team has their locker room in the lower level of Sheil Hall. Sheil Hall is an alcohol-free environment. Average room dimensions starting at 10'2" x 10'.

South Hall
South Hall features single occupancy rooms for 40 first-year residents. Study lounges are available on each floor, and a full-service kitchen is located on the fourth floor. This residence hall is co-ed by floor. South Hall is adjacent to the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, convenient for nursing majors. South Hall is an alcohol-free environment. Average room dimensions are 8'4" x 12'
